IndustryPack, also known as IP Module or IPack was the first popular mezzanine card adapted to VMEbus, CompactPCI and PCI cards.
IndustryPack (IP) cards are 3.9 x 1.8" and provide a 16-bit data path (double-wide 32-bit cards are specified, but not widely used).
IP cards use two 50-pin connectors, one at each end of the card. The modules reside on carriers and provide cost effective I/O solutions due to their small construction and form-factor features.
The TIP102 is a one/two axes high precision incremental encoder motion control IP, 24 bit counter (1.2MHz), 16 bit D/A converter, 12 bit A/D converter, 4 inputs, 3 outputs; Requires transition module TIP102-TM-xx; Operating temperature -40° to +85° (Transition Module 0°C to +70°C)
The TIP360 is a quad integrated communication IP based on the MC68360 processor: 4 serial channels ; Internal microcode in the MC68360 supports a variety of protocols, such as BISYNC, HDLC, SDLC, UART, DDCMP, Apple Talk, Signaling System #7, Profibus, ATM, X.14, X.21, ISDN, and totally transparent modes; Operating Temperature -40°C to +85°C
